Drew this for a challenge on Instagram called "Trinkets and Treasures" the prompt was "Play things."
I shot myself in the foot with this but also had too much fun to put it down. I decided to draw my childhood teddy bear (named Teddy) that I gifted to my daughter, Odessa, when she was born. Her favorite teddy tends to change every now and then but Teddy is still her go to when she is a bit scared and wants to be brave (she takes him when she needs to get shots at the doctors for example). I told her that I gave Teddy so many hugs as a little girl and now he can give them to her. This is first time I’ve done a more realistic drawing of Odessa and I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out!
